THE LAWYER KIDNAPPED IN BAMENDA HAS BEEN RELEASED

Master SUH FUH Ben, was kidnapped on November 27 just after his return from Douala the economic capital where he took part in the general meeting of Cameroon’s lawyers.
His kidnappers have agreed to release him after paying a ransom he admits, but without specifying the amount.
They accuse him and other English-speaking lawyers of “betraying the struggle for the creation of an independent English-speaking state”.
Attorney at the Bar of Cameroon Me SUH FUH Ben is also a legal adviser of the Social Democratic Front, SDF, an opposition party.
He remained in captivity throughout the day before his captors left him in a forest.
