It took place at the Palace of the unity brought together 74 personalities from all the countries of the four corners of the world represented in Cameroon .
Through the voice of the dean of the diplomatic corps, the ambassador of the Gabonese Republic Paul Patrick Biffot, there was an overview of the news that punctuated the world during the year 2018, especially in Cameroon.
During this institutional ceremony, the international community by the voice of the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps has dwelt on the rise of nationalisms and populisms that threaten the world with the crisis in the north-west and south-west regions for more than two years and whose strong capacity for nuisance and violent clashes have already claimed several lives.
For Ambassador Biffot, it is necessary that the couple “the strength of the experience of the head of state” and “the strength of the experience of the Cameroonian people” join forces in a broad, open and inclusive dialogue in the resolution of the Anglophone crisis that has claimed many civilian and military casualties, as well as extensive material damage. To deal with this disaster, the ambassador has issued that humanitarian actors can access the theater of operations in the Northwest and Southwest.
