CAMEROON SHAME AGAIN!!!….FRANCE24 BANS ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN “PROUD TO BE CAMEROONIAN”

Obviously the editorial staff of France 24 does not like the Fier spot to be Cameroonian … “I’m sorry. The editors demand that the campaign Fier to be Cameroonian be suspended. “It is with these words that the agency Stratline was informed, this 22nd of October, by France Pub, that the editorial staff of France 24 judged the spot Cameroonian advertising agency, to the point of requiring its withdrawal.

This 30-second spot contains only images of Cameroonians and Cameroonians from all regions and all cultures that are reflected in the message “All proud to be Cameroonians”.
It was in 2011, for 50th anniversary of the reunification of Cameroon, that this spot had been realized. It had since been broadcast, including on France 24, in 2013, when Boko Haram was wiping hard in North Cameroon. Then in 2014, for the Football World Cup in Brazil. Then in 2017, for CAN in Gabon. Without anyone finding fault.

In these threatening times, with the Anglophone crisis, the persistent abuses of Boko Haram, to which were added post-electoral tensions, a unifying, non-partisan message seemed rather opportune …

But the editorial staff of France 24 judged that this spot no was not good for Cameroonians and suspended the broadcast … Everyone can make his opinion on this ban, by viewing the spot in question …
