No distinction for Cameroon at the CAF awards ceremony held on Tuesday evening

In a few categories, including the best coach of the women’s team, or the best goal of the year, not to mention that of the women’s national team of the year, the country of Roger Milla has nothing won in Dakar.

Even in the typical squad of the year, no Cameroonian player is included. For the most prestigious distinction, the Egyptian Mohamed Salah distinguished himself by winning, for the second time, the title of best African player of the year.

Coach of the Year in Women’s Football: Desiree Ellis (South Africa)

National Team of the Year: Mauritania

National Women’s Team Year: Nigeria

Goal of the year: Chrestinah Thembi Kgatlana (South Africa & Houston Dash)

Federation President of the Year: Fouzi Lekjaa (Morocco)

Platinum Award: Macky Sall, President of Senegal
