Bloody Wednesday in Buea: a soldier beheaded at Old GCE board
Ambazonian groups are patrolling for the people to respect the “Lockdown” slogan.
The Ambazonian separatist groups are keeping watch, in order to respect the “Lockdown”, to hear foreclosure, announced in the North West and South West regions, from February 5 to February 10, 2019.
In this atmosphere, a soldier was beheaded at a place called Old GCE board in Buea in the South West region today. In the Bunduma district, four vehicles belonging to the civil servants were set on fire.
The “Lockdown” is for armed groups in Cameroon’s two English regions to block any movement of people between these two regions and the rest of the country.
A similar slogan had already been given in 2018. This had caused a panic among the population. Many seeking out of these areas before the start of the “lock”. The authorities wanted to reassure the population. The administration sometimes used various means to prevent them from leaving the area.
